Dear Pab uIRC is not a open source relates Network like freenode, is khmeros for Cambodian (Khmer) then which category should it belong to? a place run and full with Khmer people or a place full with people who don't use Khmer language? We build this network more than 10 years we modify our own server suit for local user, make them easy to use and safe from attacking, autojoin may delay but it's won't prevent you from manual join (it's hurt if we lazy). Anyway we already more than 7000 people in Cambodia using our services and are all your true IRC target. Other support have endure and understand the network very well and some also enjoy using it, all you need to do is open your mind and understand the way we work. About spam, we spending our own resources and money to run the place is it fair for just to advertise our services (not more than one line) once every 15 minutes? plus you can stop recieving it by using command /umode -n at the end i encourage khmeros use to uIRC more as we on our way to intergrate Khmer language in our server message.

I'm unable to join #khmeros on uirc, I get this message: Cannot join channel: Must identify to your nickname to join an empty channel. Does this mean that #khmeros on uirc isn't used? #khmeros on freenode is empty too, have khmeros staff/users abandoned irc altogether? -- bye, pabs

Good news!

Good news! From my point of view, it is good that KhmerOS has support channel in Khmer Network than foreign one. Because we can chat and have fun with other khmer people at the same time we are in #khmeros. As i ever got connected to freenode before, I noticed there were just few member online or none sometimes. Regarding uIRC, I ever chatted in there before. I felt so comfortable when i was IRC dummy. After that, there was some complains about chatting privacy in that network. Some people using some ISP in Cambodia can not reach uIRC because they got ban/kline. My friends ever told me it is their business reason. I think it is true. So, there is still obstacle if those clients want to connect there. So now, does KhmerOS have two official support channels now?

I don't see anything wrong

I don't see anything wrong beside PPCTV blocking us because their own problem which they can't solve and put all the fault on us. uIRC is doing great, privacy rummor because of people never trust on other people especial someone greatter than themself so they can start something to attack bigger network. About ban kline/gline is always happen and it's applied to insecure connection and abuse user which is not harmful to #khmeros user at all.

currently, we have two but in the future there will be only one on uIRC because it is easy to reach by most of cambodian people. and the reason why we keep the two it is because we had #khmeros on freenode first and then uirc. we,khmeros team,mostly are at uirc! -------------------------------- ខ្យល់បក់ ដីហុយ...
