Open office doesn't render khmer font correctly when export to PDF

Dear all, I am actually using Ubuntu Linux version 6.06 on GNOME Desktop with the open office that comes with it (version 2.0). I was able to install the KhmerOS fonts and the Khmer keyboard layout correctly. I can type and view the khmer document correctly in open office. The problem comes when I export the open office document into PDF format from open office, the khmer characters don't display or get rendered correctly in the PDF file (e.g.​ក្នុង or ខ្ញុំ won't display correctly in PDF file). Your recommendation and answer are mostly welcome. Luxurix

Maybe it's a bug for Open Office in Linux

Hello, Thanks anyway for the reply, Intellik. I've got another PC running Windows XP on which there is khmer open office installed. I opened the open office file written using the Open Office on Linux on the Windows PC and exported it to the PDF file. Nothing went wrong. The bad rendering I've got on Linux didn't exist when exporting using Open office in Windows. This is strange to me!!! Anymore suggestion or reply, please? Luxurix
