វិនដូ ៧ និង ខ្មែរយូនីកូដ (Windows 7 and Khmer Unicode)

តើ អ្នកទាំងអស់គ្នាធ្លាប់បានឡឺអំពី វិនដូ ៧ ឬទេ? សុំអួតបន្តិចទៅចុះ មិនត្រឹមតែធ្លាប់បានឮទេ តែថែមទាំងបានប្រើទៀត។ ប្រហែលខ្ញុំជាមនុស្សដែលមានសំណាងជាងគេហើយនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ។

ដំណើរ ការដំឡើង (Windows Setup) របស់វាបើប្រៀបធៀបជាមួយ វិស្តា នៅលើម៉ាស៊ីន Dell Inspiron 1420 របស់ខ្ញុំដែលមានផ្នែករឹងដូចជា CPU Core 2 Duo 2.0GB, Ram 2.0GB, Webcam 2 MP, Wireless & Bluetooth Build-in, Card Reader 8 in 1, … វាគ្រាន់តែចំណាយពេលប្រហែល ២៥ នាទី ប៉ុណ្ណោះយ៉ាងយូរ ប៉ុន្តែ វិនដូ វិស្តា ការដំណើងរបស់វាចំណាយពេលរហូតដល់ទៅ ៥០ នាទី ។ មិនត្រឹមតែប៉ុណ្ណោះខ្ញុំមិនចាំដំឡើង Driver អ្វីច្រើននោះទេ បន្ទាប់ពីការដំឡើងវិនដូ ៧ រួច លើកលែង Driver ពីរប៉ុណ្ណោះ គឺ Bluetooth និង VGA Driver ក្រៅពីនោះមិនចាំបាច់និយាយពីវានោះទេ ដូចជា wireless ជាដើមនោះ ។

វិនដូ ៧ ខ្ញុំអាចនិយាយបានថា វាល្អជាង វិនដូ វីស្តា ដោយសារតែដំណើរការប្រតិបត្តិរបស់វាទៅផ្នែកទន់ (Software) មានល្បឿនលឿនជាង វិស្តា ។ ដំណើរការនៃការ Boot របស់វាមានល្បឿនលឿនចូលទៅកាន់ Desktop ។ ជាងនេះទៅទៀតមិនចាំរង់ចាំអោយវាដំណើរការ (run process) នៅលើ Desktop យូរដូច វិនដូ វិស្តា នោះទេ យើងអាចចាប់ផ្តើមប្រើកម្មវិធីផ្សេងៗបានភ្លាមៗបន្ទាប់ពីចូលដល់ Desktop ។

ដំណឹង ល្អសំរាប់អ្នកទាំងអស់គ្នានោះគឺថា កម្មវិធីវចនានុក្រមខ្មែរ Orkida Dictionary ដែលប្រហែលសរសេរឡើងក្នុងឆ្នាំ ១៩៩៨ នៅតែអាចដំណើរការបាន និង វចនានុក្រមខ្មែរសម្តេចសង្ឃ ជួន ណាត របស់ ពុទ្ធសាសនបណ្ឌិត នៅតែអាចដំណើរការលើ វិនដូ ៧ បានយ៉ាងល្អបំផុតដោយគ្មានភាពរអាក់រអួលបន្តិចសោះចាប់ការដំឡើង រហូតដល់ការប្រើប្រាស់វា ។ គួរអោយខ្ញុំសោកស្តាយបន្តិចដែរ នៅពេលដែលនិយាយអំពី ខ្មែយូនីកូដ វា នៅតែមានទំហំតូចដូចនៅក្នុង វិនដូ វិស្តា អញ្ចឹងដែរ វាហាក់ដូចជាថាទំហំរបស់វាគឺមិនមែនសំរាប់ភ្នែកមនុស្សមើលសោះ ដែលជាហេតុនាំឲ្យខ្ញុំសំរេចចិត្តដំឡើងកម្មវិធី Khmer Unicode 2.0 សំរាប់ជាជំនួយអោយទំហំរបស់វាធំហើយអាចអានបានដូចធម្មតា ។

តើទំហំអក្សរនៅក្នុងរូបរបស់លោក មានទំហំប៉ុន្មាន Pt? តើលោកបានបង្រួមកំពស់បញ្ឈររបស់វាទេ? មើលតាមរូមបដែលលោក បង្ហាញ គឺ Microsoft បានព្យាយាម ធ្វើឲ្យកំពស់បញ្ឈររបស់អក្សរខ្មែរទាប ដែលអាចងាយស្រួល ចេញនៅតាម User Interface នានា!

វាជាការប្រសើរដែរ ខ្ញុំគិតថាអក្សរខ្មែរ នឹងចេញធំ និងអាចមើលបានដោយសារដំណោះស្រាយនេះ ។ គ្រាន់តែសម្រួលតួរអក្សរឲ្យស្អាតជាងនេះទៅបានហើយ ។

នេះជាពុម្ព UI មិនមែនជាពុម្ពសរសេរទូទៅនោះទេ! ពុម្ពសរសេរទូទៅ យើងអាចប្រើ Khmer OS family fonts ។ អ្វីដែលសំខាន់ សម្រាប់ Khmer UI Font គឺមានទំហំធំល្មមដែលមនុស្សអាចមើលបាន អានបាន មានកំពស់បញ្ឈរទាប រូបរាងស្អាតល្មម និងមើលឃើញច្បាស់ល្អ!
