The KhmerOS program has just promoted two members of its localization team to higher responsibilities, and it is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill in two positions as Open Source Software Translators.
The main responsibility of these two positions is to ensure that new versions of the Open Source software that is now being used by education, government and civil society are translated from English to Khmer language.

02-Mar-2006: We sent 21,200 translated messages of SuSE Linux 10.1 to openSuSE project. Actually we have sent some of them already since the beginning of this year, but as we are in the process of checking so we need to update our translation and resend them again. The beta6 of SL 10.1 is just came out today, so these translation will not be in this beta, but there are few thing (beside the translation) that we are willing to test to make sure the official release of SL 10.1 have as much as possible what is needed to have Khmer ready in that release.
